I had a cold coffee from Starbucks in Forum Mall Maradu. I had a blueberry muffin as well. The temperature has been mostly over 30 degrees celsius since the start of December 2025 so I had to have something cool such as a cold coffee.
I am trying to start producing products and services that at least helps sustain people. Kerala is famous for pepper and also grows specialty coffee. My first important exposure to Kerala coffee was when I bought whole roasted coffee beans from my time in Sharjah, UAE around the year 2006. One of the first brands of whole roasted coffee beans that I bought had Kerala coffee grown that is exposed to monsoon rains with a roast/strength 4 out of 5. Having roots from Kerala, I may have been biased and liked that strength of roast or blend of coffee the best of that brand.
My background has mostly been in website front end development. Most of the projects I received were connected to marketing websites for small businesses or information portals for government agencies. Information awareness is important but there are already solution providers for the same and the opportunity size of that market is not that big.
Pepper seems to be a product that is already in a mature industry. People from all over the world want Kerala pepper because it is some of the best pepper in the world. Kerala coffee beans are not that well known even in India despite its quality. Someone needs to tell a better story about Kerala's Coffee Beans.
